Scouting Report. WR. Van Jefferson. 82. player. 123. Pick Analysis. Florida

2019 Starting WR’s: Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb, Michael Gallup

After one of the most impressive senior bowls in recent memory, Van Jefferson showed off his exceptional route-running and technical polish. Currently 23 years old (with his 24th birthday this summer), Jefferson needs to be a plug-and-play rookie to deserve this draft status.

But after consistently beating some of the best corners in the country at the Senior Bowl with his combination of technical ability, hands, and physical prowess, Jefferson looks to be a valuable selection in a loaded 2020 wide receiver class.

With impending departures of possibly both Amari Cooper and Randall Cobb, Dallas needs to find an inexpensive solution to their future lack of receiving options to the ‘$40 million-man’ Dak Prescott. Jefferson currently shows to be a day one contributor who can fend for himself against starting-caliber NFL corners.

Larrell Murchison. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DT. 123. NC State. 122. player

2019 Starting DT’s: Maliek Collins, Antwaun Woods

Larrell Murchison is a standard 4-3 defensive tackle who has lined up at both the 3 and 5 technique during his time at NC State. at 6’3″ 291 lbs, Murchison has displayed both stout power and explosive burst off of the line of scrimmage from the 3 and 5 technique respectively.

Murchison is not one to use a bull rush and utilize power to get into the backfield, but instead uses his reach and hand placement to get to the outside hip of his blocker and explode around the edge.

Dallas currently has a respectable defensive line composed of edge-rushing stars and serviceable interior lineman, but any successful pass-rush needs a plethora of rotational pieces. Murchison is the versatile tackle this defense could use as a sub-package player and rotational player during his rookie year, and given time to develop could become a starting-caliber tackle.
