Pick Analysis. Offensive Tackle. Georgia. Isaiah Wilson. Scouting Report. 2. player. 35

The Tennessee Titans stick with the trenches here in round two and select Isaiah Wilson out of Georgia. The key here is that tackle Jack Conklin is a free agent, and it’s completely barren behind him, potentially barren enough to make a tackle a first-round pick come draft day.

However, there are still options here on day two in what is regarded as a deeper tackle class than any in recent memory. Is Wilson near the tier of the top four tackles in the 2020 NFL Draft? I would say no. However, there are positives with Wilson. He’d slide into his natural spot at right tackle, has solid movement skills and power in the run game, and plenty of room to grow in his technique as a pass protector.

Pick Analysis. Tight End. Vanderbilt. Jared Pinkney. 3. 35. Scouting Report. player

This pick may come as a bit of a shock, especially with other needs for the Titans. However, this pick is about planning beyond the 2020 season. Delanie Walker and Jonnu Smith are both on the last year of their contracts in 2020, and Walker is getting up there in age, not to mention he’s coming off an injury. We know that Smith can work up the seam, but here, the Titans get an all-around tight end in Jared Pinkney, who can be a good blocker inline and shows flashes as a receiving tight end.
