Cowboys 2020 mock draft: Reloading the defensive backfield

With both Randall Cobb and Amari Cooper slated for free agency in 2020, the Cowboys may have to look to this draft class for some help at the receiver position.

Not that that’s a bad thing…

This year’s receiver group is one of the best we’ve ever scouted, and Devin Duvernay would be a tremendous value here in the fourth round.

Duvernay is an explosive playmaker with a running back’s build who can work out of the slot and provide explosive plays. He may not be as refined at this point as Randall Cobb but he’s certainly got the ability to provide big plays out of the slot immediately.

In that way, I think he’s an ideal replacement for Cobb, and the Cowboys would be getting a guy who put together an outstanding career in their own backyard.
