With the offseason upon us, we complete a first round mock of the 2020 NFL Draft with trades, including the Chargers jumping back up into the first round.

Well football fans, the NFL season is officially over. Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs, your Super Bowl LIV Champions. You know what that means… its draft season! The 2020 NFL Draft will be here before you know it.

Ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft Scouting Combine beginning at the end of the month, we take a stab at predicting the first round of the 2020 NFL draft with this mock that includes trades. This is the first mock draft that I have published with trades involved, and there will undoubtedly be numerous first-round trades when the draft comes around in April.

Will a team give up a bundle to move up and draft their quarterback of the future? Which teams will move down and stockpile future assets? I only predicted three first-round trades in this mock draft, but I’d bet there are even more in the first round of the real 2020 NFL Draft.

Many prospects have already moved a multitude of spots up or down draft boards, and there will certainly be more change to come with the combine at the end of the month. Many people become infatuated with 40 times and feats of athleticism. But football is played on the field, so right now with just the tape to watch may be the time to get the most accurate evaluations of draft prospects.

This mock draft was completed with The Draft Network’s Mock Draft Machine. The trades were executed using their trade feature offered to premium users. The details of the trades are not explained, as they would likely involve future draft picks while the Mock Draft Machine only allows 2020 NFL draft picks to be involved in trades.
