Jaguars 2020 team needs heading into free agency, draft

Tight End
The Jaguars didn’t get much production out their tight ends last season. James O’Shaughnessy, Seth Devalve, Geoff Swaim, and Nick O’Leary each saw at least 10 targets and none of them caught more than 14 passes. Also, DeValve and O’Leary are both free agents.
They did invest a third round pick in last year’s draft in Josh Oliver, but he had a disappointing rookie season. He only played in 4 games and only caught 3 passes as he dealt with a hamstring injury which eventually landed him on injured reserve. An injury filled rookie season shouldn’t mean that they should just give up on him, but he also shouldn’t stop them from investing in a tight end this offseason.
In today’s NFL, more and more teams are utilizing their tight ends in the pass game, so while it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have a good tight end the Jaguars definitely need to look into getting a tight end that can give them much better production than what they had last season.
Potential Free Agent Targets: Austin Hooper, Hunter Henry, Jacob Hollister (RFA), Eric Ebron, Blake Jarwin, Greg Olsen, Jason Witten, Tyler Eifert
Potential Draft Targets: Cole Kmet, Thaddeus Moss, Jared Pinkney, Colby Parkinson, Albert Okwuegbunam
