Calvin Throckmorton. 6. 820. Pick Analysis. OG. Oregon. Scouting Report. player

Calvin Throckmorton is not an offensive tackle at the next level. He simply does not move his feet well enough to keep up with high-level NFL speed rushers. That being said, I do like his overall game well enough to give him a chance to succeed on the inside. Throckmorton shows some nice power at the point of attack and can reach the second level in the run game. He is worth a late-round investment for an offensive line-needy team like the Chicago Bears.

866. Scouting Report. CB. Dane Jackson. 7. player. Pick Analysis. Pittsburgh

The Bears addressed their need at cornerback earlier in this 2020 NFL mock draft, but it does not hurt to double-dip at the position with another late-round selection.

Dane Jackson is a long and relatively athletic cornerback prospect who shows some nice upside at the next level. He is better in zone coverage than man and lacks ideal ball skills for the position. That being said, Jackson’s physical profile is worth taking a chance on in the seventh round. At worst, he should be a nice asset on special teams at the next level.

With their final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Chicago Bears take a shot at some pass-rush upside. James Smith-Williams was never the most productive player in college, but if you squint hard enough, you can see a player who can make an impact as a part-time player at the next level.

Smith-Williams has solid length on the edge and plenty of power at the point of attack. He has a quick first step and converts from speed to power extremely well. He is undoubtedly worth a flyer late in the 2020 NFL Draft.
