Ravens top 5 first round targets in the 2020 NFL Draft

At only 5’9″, Marquise Brown is not the most physically imposing wide receiver in the NFL but makes up for a lack of size with elite field-stretching speed. The two tallest receivers on Baltimore’s roster during the 2019 campaign were 6’2″ Seth Roberts and 6’4″ Miles Boykin.
Neither of these receivers are generally considered legitimate compliments to Hollywood Brown and Willie Snead, but CeeDee Lamb could become that player.
At 6’2″, Lamb is a unique playmaker out of the 2020 NFL draft who can use both size and speed to make plays. He has a great understanding of utilizing leverage on downfield balls to be in the best position at the point-of-reception, using his size to position himself against smaller corners.
Along with this, Lamb created plenty of yardage after the catch at Oklahoma on screens and short crossers with his speed and surprising agility.
Baltimore currently has Mark Andrews as a size-mismatch receiver in their offense but could add on another receiver who can add a new dimension to their passing offense. In his first year, Lamb would likely be lining up as a number three receiver behind Brown and Snead, matching up against corners who won’t be able to handle the size and speed mismatch of such an elite athletic prospect.
