C.J. Henderson. 19. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Florida. 840. CB

A linebacker is certainly an option for the Raiders here, but I decided to go in a different direction in this 2020 NFL mock draft. There is a lot to like about the cornerbacks in this class, but there is not significant depth at the position. If you need a cornerback in the 2020 NFL Draft, you better make sure to get one early. Here, the Las Vegas Raiders jump on the opportunity to snag Florida cornerback C.J. Henderson.

Henderson is an extremely smooth and athletic cornerback prospect who shows an impressive well-rounded skill-set at the position. He is a stick man-to-man defender who changes directions well and always seems to be in a position to break up a pass. Henderson also shows strong instincts in zone coverage, consistently reading the quarterback well and taking care of his responsibilities.

While he is not the most willing run defender, Henderson can be physical in coverage, showing the ability to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage and play physical throughout the snap. Simply put, he is a talented coverage player who has tremendous upside as an NFL cornerback.

Henderson has true number one cornerback potential and could quickly become a fantastic defensive asset for the Las Vegas Raiders.
