Improving the Las Vegas Raiders with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.

It is going to be an exciting year for the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only will it be their first year in a brand new city, but the Raiders have also assembled an impressive roster built around many talented young players. Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock and company have done a nice job of building this team through the draft and that is likely to continue this offseason.

How will the Raiders improve through the draft this offseason? Well, in this post we are going to try to figure it out with a seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the team.

Still reaping the benefits from the Khalil Mack trade, the Las Vegas Raiders hold two first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. They do not have any picks in the second round, but they are currently set to make three selections in the third round. With these picks, the Raiders have a chance to significantly improve their roster early in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Obviously, free agency could drastically change everything, but as things stand now, wide receiver, linebacker and cornerback appear to be the biggest needs on this roster. The Raiders lack impact players at all three of those positions and they will all likely be priorities for this team in the 2020 NFL Draft.

I would also keep an eye on the quarterback position for this team. Derek Carr is a solid NFL quarterback, but it would be foolish to think that he is cemented as their long-term starter at the position. If the right opportunity presents itself, I would not be surprised to see the Las Vegas Raiders take a big swing at the quarterback position this offseason.

Follow along as we go seven rounds deep with the Las Vegas Raiders and put together a complete 2020 NFL mock draft for the team.
