2020 NFL Draft: Ranking the top 10 wide receivers

CeeDee Lamb Wide Receiver
The top receiver in this class is more of 1a to 1b and ranking. To put it simply, the last two were close. But at the end of the day, Cedarian “CeeDee” Lamb came out on top of the rankings. As a finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2019, Lamb did have talent around him on offense but he elevated his game when they left to go into the NFL.
The 6-foot-2, 189-pound receiver had productive seasons the last two years as he had over 60 catches at Oklahoma in both seasons. The junior 20-year-old Sooner had 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns but followed the 2018 season up with 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2019.
CeeDee Lamb can be a number one receiver with his skill set as he has experience in the slot and on the outside. He does not have elite speed but his burst after the catch and vision allows him to carve up defenses. Not to mention he might have the best hands and ball control you will see out of a receiver this year and is still great after the catch.
Even though he does have a slight frame, Lamb plays with his hair on fire and shows solid functional strength for a receiver. His route running is not exactly on par with Jeudy but he is already above average with his footwork and short-area quickness. Lamb can be a target monster in the slot, a big-play threat on the outside, a red-zone weapon, and a receiver a team can feature in their offense.
