Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cameron Dantzler. 893. CB. Mississippi State. 82. player

The San Francisco 49ers double-dip in the secondary here, picking up Mississippi State cornerback Cameron Dantzler in the third round. Dantzler is a big, long and athletic cornerback prospect who shows solid press coverage skills. However, Dantzler is better in off-coverage, showing an impressive ability to break on the ball quickly.

Dantzler shows good athleticism at the cornerback position and attacks the ball in the air extremely well. This cornerback class is not loaded with depth throughout the draft, so if the 49ers want to find a guy who can help them immediately, they need to attack the cornerback position early. Dantzler stood out as the clear top cornerback on the board and would be a perfect fit for their defense.

Pick Analysis. Boise State. 138. player. Scouting Report. OL. Ezra Cleveland. 895

Joe Staley could retire at any time and he would leave a major hole at the offensive tackle position for the San Francisco 49ers. Offensive tackle is a need for this team and they could certainly use some depth on the interior as well. Ezra Cleveland was a good offensive tackle in college and could have the skill-set to play inside at the next level if needed.

Cleveland is extremely quick and athletic for an offensive lineman, firing off of the ball quickly and consistently moving well in space. He attacks the second-level extremely well and shows plenty of promise in pass protection. Whether Cleveland sticks at offensive tackle or kicks inside at the next level, he would make a lot of sense for the San Francisco 49ers, especially as a fifth-round flyer.
