Miami Dolphins 7-round mock draft: Loading up for a 2020 run
Day Three picks
5a. Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas
Speedy receiver with a running back’s body who could make a tremendous impact as a vertical threat out of the slot.
5b. Jeremy Chinn, S, Southern Illinois
Big, long safety prospect with a ton of production at a lower level of competition who could be an ace on special teams right away in the NFL.
5c. Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic
Despite his size, Bryant is a solid blocker at the tight end position and would add yet another weapon for the Dolphins offensively.
6a. Isaiah Hodgins, WR, Oregon State
Big, tall receiver prospect with ball skills and big-time production — 13 touchdowns this past season for the Beavers.
6b. Khalil Davis, DL, Nebraska
Dual-sport athlete (track and field) at Nebraska who can put pressure on the quarterback from a variety of interior positions. Had a nice week at the Shrine Bowl.
7. Adrian Killins Jr., RB, UCF
Small but speedy running back — Killins can catch passes out of the backfield or return punts for the Dolphins and give them another speedy option offensively.
This draft class is merely a start for the Dolphins, but all of their key areas of need are addressed within it and they would certainly have the opportunity to add even more pieces through free agency.
