Miami Dolphins 7-round mock draft: Loading up for a 2020 run
Making it back-to-back defensive selections is cornerback Cameron Dantzler.
You can never have enough guys who can rush the passer in the NFL, and you can never have enough guys who can cover.
Dantzler is a good value in round three and would give the Dolphins yet another big, long cornerback who has tremendous ball skills and production.
Over the last three seasons at Mississippi State, Dantzler had five interceptions and 20 pass breakups and with his 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame, he is a football magnet who excels at reading the quarterback’s eyes and disrupting receivers at the catch point.
This pick is as much about value as it is anything else, but adding a playmaker like this to your defensive backfield is almost always a necessity if you can do it in round three.
