First-Round 2020 NFL mock draft after the Super Bowl
The Tennessee Titans made an improbable run to the AFC Championship Game this season and are undoubtedly a threat to make some noise going forward. Yetur Gross-Matos is a long, tough and athletic edge rusher who would fit the Titans well. He is a bit of a project player, but Gross-Matos has plenty of long-term upside that makes him an intriguing selection for the Titans late in the first round.
The Green Bay Packers had a great 2019 season, but they seemed to lack offensive playmakers throughout the season. Davante Adams is a great number one receiver, but they lack impact depth at the position. With the 30th pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Packers address the wide receiver position by bringing in Jalen Reagor.
Reagor is a bit on the small side, but he more than makes up for it with his speed and elusiveness in the open field. Reagor is a legitimate field-stretcher who demands attention from the defense at all times. He is also a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands. Reagor would give the Packers another much-needed target in the passing attack.
The San Francisco 49ers fell short of their ultimate goal, but they were clearly one of the best teams in the NFL this season. Kyle Shanahan and company will be back and ready to compete next season, but they could use some help in the secondary.
Grant Delpit is an incredibly talented safety prospect who shows fantastic speed and athleticism on the back-end. He is a fantastic cover safety who can defend a variety of players in man-to-man coverage and also shows great ability in zone. Delpit did have some tackling issues this season, but he is an incredibly talented player who has massive upside at the next level. He just may be too tempting of a player for the 49ers to ignore.
Linebacker, cornerback and interior offensive line stand out as the biggest needs for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs this offseason. With the final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Chiefs select Jeff Gladney to address their cornerback need.
Gladney is a strong man-coverage defender who shows tremendous natural instincts on the outside. He is a good overall athlete whose ball skills particularly stand out on tape. The Chiefs could undoubtedly use some talent in the secondary and Gladney is a nice value in this range.
