Miami Dolphins 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Building a strong base
The Miami Dolphins build a foundation for the future in this complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
The Miami Dolphins gutted their roster and were clearly looking ahead to the future last season. Their 5-11 record may not seem overly impressive, but Miami did a great job of making the most out of what they had all season long. They were an extremely disciplined and scrappy team that played hard and really made some noise down the stretch. Now, the Miami Dolphins may be the single most interesting team to watch this offseason.
First, they will have nearly $90 million in cap space to work with in free agency, more than any other team in the NFL. While I do not expect the Dolphins to go wild in free agency, they will still have an opportunity to make significant additions if they wish.
However, the main event of the Dolphins’ offseason will be the 2020 NFL Draft. Miami currently holds 12 picks in the draft, including three in the first round and six picks in the first 70 selections. Simply put, these guys are absolutely loaded with draft capital.
In this post, we are going to try to put all of that draft capital to use with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft. The Dolphins have a great opportunity to build a strong base for the future in this draft, but having the picks is not enough. They have to capitalize on this opportunity for any of this to matter.
Without further ado, let’s get to the main event. Here is a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Miami Dolphins.
