17. Dallas Cowboys: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

The Cowboys need a number one corner alongside Byron Jones and could need to replace Jones if they lose him. In this 2020 NFL mock draft, they look to C.J. Henderson to be their guy. One issue with Henderson is his tackling ability but his man coverage and ability to keep up with receivers is spot on.

The Cowboys could look at safety or interior defensive linemen with this pick but ultimately having a number one cornerback is their main concern. If the Cowboys are concerned about Henderson’s tackling ability I would expect them to trade down and take Jaylon Johnson out of Utah or look to one of the safeties, like Grant Delpit from LSU.

18. Miami Dolphins (via Pittsburgh Steelers): D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

This is the pick the Dolphins got in the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade back in September of 2019. This is the second of three first-round draft picks for the Dolphins and with this pick, the Dolphins find a dynamick running back to pair with Tua in the backfield.

D’Andre Swift is the best running back prospect in the entire draft class and can be the every-down back which the Dolphins have lacked the past few seasons. They traded away Kenyon Drake to Arizona after his production declined and grabbing Swift here gives them not only a running threat but the best pass-catching running back in the draft. A running back who can make plays in the passing game would be a best friend for their rookie quarterback who they took earlier in this 2020 NFL mock draft.

19. Las Vegas Raiders (via Chicago Bears): Patrick Queen, LB, LSU

The Raiders got this pick when they traded away Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears in 2018. So, for their second selection on the night, the Raiders they go with defense. Patrick Queen is one of the fastest players in the draft for his size and is a better player than Kenneth Murray who goes a bit later in this 2020 NFL mock draft. I think both of these players are a possibility for the Raiders here.

Queen has come on stronger as the season progressed for the Tigers and can see him developing well in Gruden’s system.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Los Angeles Rams): Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

The Jaguars landed this pick from the Jalen Ramsey trade early on in the 2019 season. The Jags have gone defense their first pick in 2019, and again with their pick in 2020. This time they add one of the many wide receivers that have the potential to be taken in the first round.

Jefferson had an explosive year in 2019, tallying 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns on 111 receptions. The Jaguars need a true number one at wide receiver and land it with this pick.

The Jags have many solid receivers on their roster currently but no one like Jefferson who can help Nick Foles or Gardner Minshew next year. D.J. Clark Jr. and Dede Westbrook are great number two and three receivers on this Jags team.
