Who could the Baltimore Ravens select come NFL Draft time? It likely starts with the front seven.

The 2019 season ended with a crashing thud for the Baltimore Ravens, as they suffered a 28-12 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the divisional round, despite being the top seed in the AFC. It certainly feels like a squandered chance, especially with many picking them to win it all come February.

Obviously there’s no reason to panic when it comes to the Ravens. The Super Bowl window isn’t shutting anytime soon for them, especially with quarterback Lamar Jackson improving as a passer along with the fact he’s still on a rookie contract.

Jackson and the run game aren’t going anywhere, along with a talented secondary led by Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters, and Earl Thomas (Jimmy Smith is an impending free agent). Let’s also not forget about three tight ends who make an impact and who have been crucial for Jackson’s development.

The main concerns for the Ravens will be along the front seven. There’s little doubt that the hole C.J. Mosley created after he left is still there. It’s also worth noting that edge defender Matt Judon is a free agent. Yes, Baltimore is still betting on young pass rusher Jaylon Ferguson, but that isn’t enough.

Something else to monitor for the Ravens is longtime guard Marshal Yanda, who said he will take some time to think about his future in the NFL after an interview at the Pro Bowl. If he retires, a need opens up.

What could the Baltimore Ravens do in the 2020 NFL Draft to address those needs? I took a look at one way they could address needs here.
