11. A.J. Epenesa, EDGE, Iowa

Although it took him a while to get going in 2019, A.J. Epenesa finished the year as one of the nation’s top pass rushers. He may not be a super bendy, Harold Landry-type of edge defender, but Epenesa brings power and a mean streak to his game. Epenesa has a great first step, showing an ability to finish through his arc, using his hands to swat away blockers or simply bull-rush them.

12. Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina

After a dominant Senior Bowl practice that was ultimately cut short due to a minor injury, Javon Kinlaw has cemented himself as a top-15 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Kinlaw is a long, well built defensive tackle who brings an unrelenting motor to his game. While I don’t believe that Kinlaw possesses the same strength as Brown, however, Kinlaw is a better pass rusher than Brown, keeping his pad level low, while keeping his hands active.

13. Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Tristan Wirfs is by far one of the best movers amongst the offensive tackle group, showing an ability to reach the second level with ease. Wirfs may be a candidate to move inside to guard, an idea I could see a few NFL teams willing to entertain. However, Wirfs shows me enough balance and mirroring ability to probably keep him at tackle in the NFL.

14. Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

Kristian Fulton, despite getting a bit too handsy in coverage sometimes is a fantastic corner prospect. Fulton is a big corner standing at 6-foot, 200 pounds, who has the potential to be a dangerous man corner in the NFL. On film, he displays great fluidity in his hips that allow him to turn and run with his opponents. While it’s a little disheartening that we couldn’t see him battle it out during Senior Bowl Week due to injury, Fulton has done enough to cement himself as a top-15 pick.

15. Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama

Rounding out the top-15 is Alabama’s Henry Ruggs, the running mate of Jeudy for the Crimson Tide. Ruggs shows great physicality given his body type, as well as the quickness to win as a pure route runner. However, the main draw to Ruggs is his elite game-breaking speed, which we saw plenty of in 2019. And while it may just be a bit of hyperbole on the part of the scouting community, but Ruggs might actually run a sub-4.25 in the 2020 Combine, something that may propel his stock even higher.

16. Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville

Mekhi Becton is one of the more fascinating prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft. Standing at a whopping 6-7, 360 pounds, Becton moves extremely well for someone that size, as he seems to glide on the filed. Becton’s length allows him to stonewall defenders, hitting them with a good initial punch. And surprisingly enough, Becton shows an ability to get low enough vs the run in order to generate leverage against opponents. Overall, Becton has the potential to be a long term starter in the NFL.

17. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State

J.K. Dobbins projects as a starting, three-down back in the NFL, displaying the necessary vision, patience, and lateral quickness to be an effective runner at the next level. Dobbins posses fairly soft hands for a running back, allowing him to be fully implemented into an NFL offense.

18. Grant Delpit, S, LSU

Grant Delpit‘s 2019 season was a bit lackluster when you compare to his stellar 2018 campaign at LSU. Having said that, Delpit still offers a lot as a player that should get  NFL teams excited. Delpit displays great instincts and awareness, allowing him to diagnose plays and quickly cause havoc for opposing offenses. He could step in Day 1 and be a significant presence on the back end of a defense.

19. D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

Right behind Dobbins in my running back rankings is Georgia’s, D’Andre Swift. For a while, Swift was squarely at the top of my 2020 NFL Draft running back hierarchy, his possible risk of injuries has made me bump him down a spot. Despite this, Swift is a balanced runner, who lives up to his name, as he displays impeccable agility allowing him to make opponents look foolish for even trying to tackle him.

20. K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

Rounding out the top 20 is another LSU Tiger in pass rusher K’Lavon Chaisson. In 2018, we were robbed of seeing what he could do after an injury took much of his sophomore season. Luckily for Chaisson and those who love college football, we got to see a full season of his talents and he did not disappoint. Coming on strong towards the end of the year, Chaisson shows incredible burst off the edge, blending it with an incredible bend to create havoc on the edge.
