IDL. player. 5. 844. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Arkansas. McTelvin Agim

Two years ago, the Buccaneers invested a first-round pick into Vita Vea, a space-eating, run-stopping interior defensive lineman. Now, they need to surround him with guys who can rush the passer.

McTelvin Agim is a talented interior pass rusher. He has double-digit sacks in his career at Arkansas. Agim has a wicked first step and explodes off the ball and has a relentless motor that keeps him going after the ball all game long. Vita Vea is a strong defensive tackle who, a lot of the time, draws double teams in order to stop him. Agim can provide useful as a rotation lineman who comes in on pass rush downs to take advantage on the double-teams focused on Vea.

WR. Nebraska. 6. player. Pick Analysis. J.D. Spielman. 810. Scouting Report

Towards the end of the season, the Buccaneers receiving core was plagued with injuries, with three of their top four receivers being sidelined with hamstring injuries. JD Spielman is a technical route runner with fantastic attention to detail. He’s dynamic in the open field and has the capability of shaking defenders out of their shoes. He will play primarily out of his slot due to his size, but he’s shown the ability to have some good ball skills.

He’s shown some good adjustments to make some tough catches. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers season ending with most of their top receivers being injured, it would make sense to invest in depth players at the position.
