Pick Analysis. RB. Florida State. Cam Akers. Scouting Report. 3. player. 804

Cam Akers has been producing great tape and numbers behind a dreadful FSU offensive line for three years and he’s finally able to go to the next level. He has a mix of vision, elusiveness, and contact balance that make him a candidate to receive large portions of rushing numbers in an NFL offense. He also shows natural receiving skills and great effort and technique as a blocker that shows that he can be a three-down back in the NFL; which is something Tampa hasn’t had for a while.

48. S. Lenior-Rhyne. 4. player. Kyle Dugger. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

A few weeks ago, not many people were familiar with Kyle Dugger. He was coming out of Lenior-Rhyne, a small Division II school. However, he received an invite to the Senior Bowl and was hoping to show why he deserves to be recognized with the guys from big-name schools. He did exactly that.

Dugger came out to the Senior Bowl and showed athleticism, cover ability and versatility. The Buccaneers safety room was run thin this last year due to injuries. After having both starting safeties injured at some point last year, it might be wise to invest in some talent at the safety position. Kyle Dugger can come in and play in strong safety roles for the Bucs and showed developing ability to play single-high safety as well.
