Since the Senior Bowl, one of the hottest players in the NFL Draft world is Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mims, who could be exactly what the doctor ordered for the Broncos’ offense.

With Courtland Sutton on one side of the field, the Broncos need a receiver who can not only take pressure off of him but someone who can also be a threat vertically.

That would fit Mims’ scouting report to a ‘t’ as he is a big receiver with track speed who may not be quite refined in his skillset yet, but he’s a tremendous playmaker.

Everyone has different wide receiver rankings at this point, some featuring Mims as an early second-round pick. I don’t think the Broncos would complain if the depth at wide receiver pushed him down a round in this scenario. Mims lasting to the middle of round three feels like a pipe dream, but you never know.

He was on the board in this scenario and he would be a nice fit for the Broncos.
