Scouting Report. Edge. 59. Pick Analysis. LSU. K'Lavon Chaisson. 18. player

With their first pick in this 2020 NFL mock draft, Miami took their franchise quarterback. Now, with their second of three first-round picks, they take a game-changing pass rusher. K’Lavon Chaisson could very well wind up being the best pass rusher in this draft class.

Chaisson has a big long frame at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds. He’s very explosive off the ball and could win with his first step. The LSU product isn’t anywhere close to reaching his potential as a pass rusher, which is scary. His stats are not there having only 6.5 sacks this season, but the talent is on display every game.

He’s a willing participant defending the run and does a good job setting the edge. He’ll rack up his fair share of tackles in the ground game. Miami has had trouble getting to the quarterback since Cameron Wake signed with Tennessee. Chaisson could be a very dynamic player for the Dolphins.

Pick Analysis. Alabama. 28. Scouting Report. Henry Ruggs III. 19. player. Wide Receiver

The Raiders addressed their secondary with their first selection which allows them to capitalize on a value pick here at 19 overall. Alabama receiver Henry Ruggs possesses the speed that the Raiders always covet. They need weapons for Carr or whoever is throwing the passes next year in Vegas.

Ruggs is a dynamic game-changing wide receiver that can stretch the field with a single play. He can run the end around and take it to the house for 90 yards. He’s a very dangerous kick and punt returner which could be a great weapon for the Las Vegas Raiders. He could be what DeSean Jackson was for the Eagles way back when.

Wide Receiver. Oklahoma. 20. Scouting Report. CeeDee Lamb. player. 52. Pick Analysis

Jacksonville opted go with a game-changing linebacker with they took Isaiah Simmons. They’ll opt to go with a weapon on offense with their second pick in the first round. Oklahoma Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has an unexpected fall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Lamb is not the fastest player in this draft, but he has the ability to make guys miss after the catch. He has solid size at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds. He’s a fluid runner and does a good job breaking in and out of his route.

With Jacksonville in need of offensive playmakers, Lamb is the best available. He will make it easier for whoever is throwing the football come September.
