Eno Benjamin, Arizona State

Eno Benjamin is a very hotly debated running back prospect in this year’s class. It was great for him to get a Senior Bowl invite, so that he can prove to the camp of analysts that still have questions how he can ball.

Benjamin ran for 1,653 yards as a sophomore for the Sun Devils, averaging 5.5 yards a tote and put together 18 total touchdowns, 16 of which were on the ground. This past season saw a bit of a drop in production.

Benjamin has very good lateral quickness and plenty of build to be a feature back. However, critics point to his vision as a ball carrier to be an issue. He needs to show off the athletic talent down in Mobile.

Darius Anderson, TCU

It’s surprising that Darius Anderson doesn’t get more love in the 2020 running back class, but there are always those players who get more attention once the draft process begins. I think Anderson will be one of those guys. He has a great opportunity this coming week to prove it.

Anderson never eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing in his four seasons with the Horned Frogs, but that was mostly due to TCU having a two headed monster in the backfield in Anderson and Sewo Olonilua. Anderson has much more twitch as a runner and solid burst in open space.

He also looks natural catching the football out of the backfield. Get ready to hear about him more.
