This 2020 Senior Bowl preview at NFL Mocks centers around the running backs, a group with plenty of intrigue. Who’s in for a good week?

It’s almost time! One of the best parts of the NFL Draft process, the Senior Bowl, is set to begin this coming week. The best seniors from the 2019 college football season will all be in one place to practice for a few days and play in a game.

The entire draft community descends on Mobile for the week to break down the practices and watch how prospects perform in one-on-ones and other drills. There are always winners who improve their draft stock.

Here at NFL Mocks, we are going position by position to preview everyone who’s going to be down in Mobile participating. We’ve already gone through the quarterbacks and wide receivers, and now we’re on to the running backs.

The running back position has seen some good names down at the Senior Bowl in previous years. In 2019, Tony Pollard was down for the week, and he showed his versatility all season long with the Dallas Cowboys. Rashad Penny and Jaylen Samuels were featured in the 2018 game. Kareem Hunt and Jamaal Williams are two notable names from the 2017 game.

Unfortunately, the running back group in Mobile lost a good name as Utah’s Zack Moss had to pull out of the week due to an injury. However, it should still be a fun group down at the Senior Bowl.

There are a few playmakers down there that will get plenty of attention throughout the practices. Let’s dive in to see who could make noise this coming week!
