CeeDee Lamb. 11. Wide Receiver. Oklahoma. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30

The way CeeDee Lamb played this year he really makes a legitimate case to be WR1 for the 2020 NFL Draft. While some thought he was just a deep threat and a product of Lincoln Riley’s dynamic offense at Oklahoma, Lamb showed that he is a well-rounded receiver that projects well to the next level.

While Lamb isn’t quite the route runner that Jeudy is, he has elite ball skills. He tracks the ball in the air better than anyone in the country and always finds a way to come down with the ball. He has great hands and is a physical receiver when it comes to jump balls and routes over the middle.

The Jets have a young quarterback that needs some help around him. The Jets would love to snag one of the top three tackle prospects, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them try to move up in order to jump the Browns and secure one.

But a receiver like Lamb isn’t a bad consolation prize. With Robby Anderson possibly leaving as a free agent this offseason, a deep threat like Lamb would fill right in. With Jamison Crowder, Chris Herndon and LeVeon Bell eating underneath, Lamb could take the top off of opposing defenses and be very productive in an underrated Jets offense.

Derrick Brown. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 12. player. 28. Defensive Tackle. Auburn

You typically wouldn’t expect a defensive tackle to go much higher than 12 in the NFL Draft. But for a guy like Derrick Brown, going 12th would be viewed as a bit of a fall. Just based off of primary team needs, Brown doesn’t come off the board until 12 in this scenario, but he could realistically go as high as three. He’s that good.

Brown can really do it all on the inside. He can line up anywhere along the defensive front and make a play. He has the strength of a nose tackle, the agility and speed of an edge rusher and the tackling ability of a linebacker.

The Raiders drafted a powerful defensive lineman last year in Clelin Ferrell and I can’t see them passing on Brown if he is there in the 2020 NFL Draft. With Ferrell and Maxx Crosby on the ends and Maurice Hurst and Derrick Brown in the middle, the Raiders defense would have the makings to develop into one of the better units in the league.
