Denzel Mims, Baylor

Denzel Mims has seen his stock rise gradually as the season has rolled on, and finished with his second 1,000 yard season at Baylor, along with double-digit touchdowns. Mims brings a lot to the table. He’s grown as a route runner in 2019, showing more explosiveness out of his breaks, especially on out breakers. He is also good at using his hands to get leverage and stack receivers vertically.

Like many others on the roster, Mims need to work on his release down at the Senior Bowl. If he can be quick laterally with his release and continue to develop, Mims will make a big impact in the NFL.

Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty

Antonio Gandy-Golden is a favorite of many draft analysts, while others are a little more bearish on him at the moment. His last two seasons have seen him catch at least 70 passes, over 1,000 yards, and double-digit touchdowns, so the production is certainly there.

When it comes to his traits, he’s got great hands and is very physical at the line of scrimmage and after the catch, sometimes carrying defenders with him down the field. This week will be a big opportunity for him to show he can create some initial separation and be more than a vertical wide receiver with a more developed route tree.
