Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State

Brandon Aiyuk might be the highest wide receiver on this writer’s board as we head into Senior Bowl week. Aiyuk didn’t do much last year with N’Keal Harry getting most of the targets, but he enjoyed a big jump in production in 2019 with 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 18.3 yards per catch.

Aiyuk is a great vertical threat in the passing game and is a very good route runner, showing plenty of nuance with a developed route tree and a good speed release. The big question for him is if he can work through contact, something necessary for receivers on the boundary.

Michael Pittman Jr., USC

Michael Pittman Jr. might have the most potential of any receiver at the Senior Bowl. Pittman Jr. had a fantastic 2019 season, catching 101 passes for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns. He does a lot of things well that will translate to the next level.

Pittman has great hands and adjusts very well to the football down the field. He’s also physical, using his hands well to work through initial contact, and has strength and quickness after the catch to pick up key yardage. Pittman is also a very good red-zone threat. His biggest question mark is his release, something we will get to see in Mobile.
