2020 Senior Bowl QB Preview: Big week for Justin Herbert, Jordan Love
In this 2020 Senior Bowl preview, we go through each quarterback and what they need to do down in Mobile.
It is a wonderful time of year for NFL Draft enthusiasts. The best part of the draft process, the Senior Bowl, is set to begin next week. The top seniors in the country all come together in Mobile, Alabama for a week of practices with NFL coaches with plenty of other coaches and scouts in attendance. There’s plenty of money to be made for senior prospects during the week.
Here at NFL Mocks, we are going to go through every position and preview the prospects, going through their strengths and weaknesses and what they need to do at the Senior Bowl in order to get their draft stock trending up. In this article, the quarterbacks are up first.
It’s going to be a very good year to be in Mobile to watch the quarterbacks, with three big headliners. Unfortunately, Joe Burrow won’t be in attendance, barring a surprise late entry, and it isn’t a huge deal as he’s projected to be the top overall pick in the draft anyway. However, projected first-round pick Justin Herbert will be there, and potential first-round pick Jordan Love will be as well. Let’s not forget about Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has a lot to offer NFL teams.
The quarterbacks have a chance to improve their stock, like quarterbacks before them. Carson Wentz enjoyed a rise in 2016, and it was a great competition between Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen in 2018. Let’s dive into the 2020 group and see what is in store for each down in Mobile!
