Prediction: 37th overall to Chargers

Aside from Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa, if there’s one quarterback in this class I would feel confident saying they could start for an NFL team in year one and help them get to the playoffs, it would be Jake Fromm.

I, like many others, was surprised to find out Fromm was entering the 2020 NFL Draft but the class is better for it.

Fromm’s ability to pick up an NFL offense quickly will endear him to a lot of teams, and his ability to take snaps from under center, play with his back to the defense using play-action, and read the defense before the snap will all be attributes teams covet.

Ultimately, he could go a lot higher than this despite his athletic limitations and lack of elite arm strength. Fromm can make all the throws and should thrive on a team where he has playmakers to get the ball to.

I view him as a day one starter at the next level.
