QB. Jordan Love. 10. player. 46. Pick Analysis. Utah State. Scouting Report

Prediction: 34th overall to Colts

Jordan Love is a bit of a polarizing prospect, but his physical gifts are tantalizing.

I don’t think he could go to a better place than the Indianapolis Colts, where he would be developed by Frank Reich and his staff.

The Colts obviously have to figure out what they are going to do in the post-Andrew Luck era. There was hope that Jacoby Brissett could be ‘the guy’ and there still may be, but the Colts gave him a contract with no dead money beyond 2019 for a reason.

While they are not entirely alike, I think Jordan Love has a pretty similar situation to that of Carson Wentz coming out of North Dakota State, where his raw talent was always evident but there were some issues with consistency and a need for proper coaching.

It just so happens Reich was the offensive coordinator in Philadelphia the year they took Wentz (2016).

I think Love is a great fit for this kind of offense and he could develop quickly with a coach like this.
