Arizona Cardinals 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Building a strong offense
After loading up their offense in the first three rounds, the Arizona Cardinals make a defensive addition here in the fourth. Bradlee Anae is not the most naturally athletic edge rusher in the 2020 NFL draft class, but his combination of first-step explosion and raw power gives us plenty to like about him as a prospect.
Anae gets off of the ball quickly and shows tremendous overall hand usage. He also shows some nice counter moves in the pass rush and has the power to consistently create push in the bull rush. The Utah product also sets the edge extremely well and can make plays in the backfield as a one-gap penetrator.
EDGE is a major need for this team and Anae is an exciting prospect who could be a massive value for the Cardinals in the fourth round.
Tremayne Anchrum had success as an offensive tackle in college, but he simply does not have the length to play outside at the next level. He should be evaluated as solely an interior offensive line prospect, but his strong combination of athleticism and power at the point of attack gives him a chance to make a successful transition to the inside.
Anchrum is a mobile offensive lineman who reaches the second-level well in the run game. He also shows some power at the point of attack and should be able to hold his own as an interior pass protector at the next level. The Arizona Cardinals simply need more quality depth across the entire offensive line and Anchrum could provide that for an extremely low cost.
With their final pick of this mock draft, the Cardinals snag some upside at the cornerback position. A.J. Green is an athletic cornerback prospect who shows solid speed on the outside and attacks the ball in the air at a high level.
He is a strong zone coverage cornerback whose raw athleticism gives him some nice upside at the next level. He is also a tough and physical player who should be able to come in and provide some immediate value on special teams.
