Round 4, No. 126 Overall: Shane Lemieux, IOL, Oregon

The Green Bay Packers’ interior of their offensive line is pretty lackluster. Rookie, Elgton Jenkins has shown promise to be a starter for them in the coming years, but they desperately need another guard. If Brian Bulaga departs from the team, the Packers will be faced with multiple holes in the offensive line and will likely move guys around until the best five play.

Shane Lemieux is a great value at this spot especially being at a position of need. Lemieux projects as a starting offensive lineman in the NFL and getting him here would be a huge get for the Packers.

Round 5, No. 157 Overall: Ben Bartch, OT, St. John’s

With the potential departure of Brian Bulaga, the Packers are in need of depth at the offensive line. Ben Bartch is a big, physical lineman that can step in and fill a role. Never receiving the best coaching, Bartch struggles at times with footwork and some technique. With proper NFL coaching, Bartch can be a great tackle in the NFL. He has the tools, size, and demeanor to be an NFL offensive tackle if developed.

Round 6, No. 172 Overall: Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor

The Green Bay Packers are in need of plenty of receiving talent and Denzel Mims is talented. His long, athletic frame gives him a huge catch radius. He can leap and work through contact with consistent concentration and body control. Mims should contribute right away and has the potential to be a starting NFL wide receiver very early in his career.

Round 6, No. 189 Overall: Akeem Davis-Gaither, LB, Appalachian State

Adding depth to this linebacking core is essential going into this offseason for the Green Bay Packers. Akeem Davis-Gaither is another athletic, rangy linebacker that can find a role early on as a sub-package linebacker and great special teams player. His athletic profile and versatility as a defender will give him early opportunities.

Round 7, No. 201 Overall: AJ Dillon, RB, Boston College

AJ Dillon is an intriguing running back prospect. Dillon has plenty of production in the ACC. He can fill a specific role for the Packers: short-yardage specialist. Whether it’s 3rd-and-short or at the goal-line, Dillon can drive through the point of attack and gain needed yardage using all 250 pounds of himself. He isn’t a splash play guy, but he can be very beneficial for an offense who uses him and benefits from where he is best.

Round 7, No. 219 Overall: Levonta Taylor, CB, Florida State

Levonta Taylor is a former five-star prospect who just doesn’t get the ball thrown his way. He is definitely undersized and would probably fill a role as a slot corner, but his natural coverage abilities are outstanding. Get him in the room and figure out how to best utilize him in a way where he can stick to a receiver’s hip and shut him down.

The Green Bay Packers are in their Super Bowl window now and must find themselves early contributions on both sides of the ball to capitalize on their current roster. Aaron Rodgers won’t play forever so it’s time to go all-in now for the next few seasons to try and take home another Lombardi Trophy to Wisconsin.
