2020 NFL Draft: 5 First round targets for Buffalo Bills
Yes, sir! You guessed it, another wide receiver. LSU just won the National Championship and of course, the biggest reason was breakout star quarterback and likely first overall pick Joe Burrow. However, a big reason for his success has been the LSU’s receivers. Justin Jefferson has come up big every game just like his fellow receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Justin Jefferson has the size (6-foot-3 and 192lbs) that Buffalo desires as well as a winning pedigree. He’s not overly fast nor is he super physical but he still produces at a high level. He wins his route almost always and does an amazing job creating separation between the ball and his defender. His hands are as solid as anyone in the draft including Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy.
Yet he’s still not being talked about enough.
He should no doubt be a first-round pick and Buffalo would be an absolutely great fit. Josh Allen as great improvisation skills that would allow Jefferson to break free as he did in LSU. Justin Jefferson finished the season with 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. That is absurd.
Picturing him in an offense that already has great slot receivers and a promising running back could be a Bills fans dream. Jefferson is as clutch of a receiver as they come. If you need a big catch on third or fourth down Jefferson will be the target.
