As mentioned numerous times the Buffalo Bills lack big, physical receivers. Enter Colorado’s Laviska Shenault Jr. At 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, Shenault Jr. possesses the size and strength Buffalo severely lacks. The Bills could most likely take Shenault and stay right where they are at 22 overall.

Shenault Jr. uses his size and strength to fight off defensive backs from the very start of his route. He has the rare physicality and speed combination that could give NFL defensive backs trouble. Shenault has very solid hands to go with his size and speed allowing him to break a big play at any given moment.

I have to be honest I wasn’t very high on him until I watched more tape for this Bills piece. But when you turn on the tape he jumps off the screen.

Josh Allen would be grinning ear to ear if the Buffalo Bills take Laviska Shenault Jr. 22nd overall. He can line up outside, but he has some experience in the slot as well. Shenault is a very versatile player as he even had some carries in the backfield as well.

He does have some room to grow as a receiver, however, as his route running isn’t great. That shouldn’t be a big problem for Buffalo for they already have Cole Beasley and John Brown who are experienced route runners.

This would allow them to use Shenault Jr. like how Seattle used rookie wide receiver D.K. Metcalf. He can run simple route patterns until he fully develops.
