The Buffalo Bills secondary is not bad at all, but they need to give Tre’Davius White some help at corner. White is a top-three cornerback in the league so pairing him with a young promising corner like C.J. Henderson could be very fun to watch.

C.J Henderson has a long frame that could and should fill out as he matures. His long arms allow him to break up passes without the need to grab and tug the receiver avoiding any penalties. He’s not afraid to come up and help against the run. Some people may have Henderson sliding into the second, but I have a first-round grade on him. He has great hands for a defensive back which could lead to a bunch of interceptions.

His technique may need some help, but that shouldn’t be a problem with Buffalo’s coaching.

Henderson has zero red flags. He’s a team leader which shouldn’t be a surprise as everyone could see what jersey number he dons. The number one jersey that C.J. Henderson wears is prestigious.

Florida doesn’t just give out that jersey like it’s candy. The prestigious #1 jersey hasn’t been worn since Vernon Hargreaves left for the NFL in 2015. You have to not only be one of the best on the field but the best teammate and leader. It’s a great honor for Henderson.

The Buffalo defense would be getting a major playmaker on the defensive side of the ball, which could solidify them as the top secondary in the league.
