QB. Tua Tagovailoa. 5. 59. Pick Analysis. Alabama. player. Scouting Report

The Miami Dolphins were likely tuned in to hear what Tua Tagovailoa was going to decide, and his declaration for the 2020 NFL Draft likely means his rehab process is going as or better than expected. The Dolphins are ready to get this rebuilt underway in the draft, and they select Tua here. Tua has incredible accuracy and might be the best quarterback in the draft when he’s healthy.

QB. 13. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oregon. Justin Herbert. 6. player

You could almost feel the Philip Rivers era coming to an end in Los Angeles after a tough season and an emotional Rivers press conference. It looks to be time to start a new era as the Chargers move to SoFi Stadium. Here, they select Justin Herbert out of Oregon to start the new era. Herbert has great arm talent and good athleticism to make plays on the move.

player. 87. Scouting Report. DT. Auburn. Pick Analysis. Derrick Brown. 7

The Carolina Panthers made a splash, signing former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule to lead them going forward. That coaching change sparks a fun new era for Panthers fans. In this scenario, they look for one more season from Cam Newton and go best available at the seventh overall pick, selecting Derrick Brown. Brown can collapse the pocket at will with his ability to penetrate gaps, and he also has a great football IQ.

Pick Analysis. WR. CeeDee Lamb. 8. player. 32. Scouting Report. Oklahoma

The Arizona Cardinals really should look for offensive line help in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but it just feels like Kliff Kingsbury will make a case to capitalize on this uber-talented wide receiver class. CeeDee Lamb would be able to come in and work with former teammate Kyler Murray and be a true number one guy with his ability after the catch and ball skills down the field.
