Pick Analysis. Joe Burrow. LSU. 1. player. 56. Scouting Report. QB

The Cincinnati Bengals have the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and this pick can basically be written in sharpie at this point. The Bengals need a change at the quarterback position, and Joe Burrow is the change they need. Burrow has been fantastic this season, showing great deep ball accuracy and great ability to move around the pocket. A new era beckons for Cincinnati.

2. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Ohio State. Chase Young. player. Scouting Report. 58

Like the Burrow pick, the Washington Redskins have a pretty obvious selection staring them in the face. Yes, the Redskins moved up to select Montez Sweat last year late in the first round, but when someone like Chase Young is available, he has to be the selection. Young has an electric first step, great bend around the edge, and good hands to soften the edge. Washington is building a great defensive line.

Pick Analysis. CB. Ohio State. Jeffrey Okudah. player. Scouting Report. 3. 50

The third pick is where the 2020 NFL Draft gets interesting. The Detroit Lions have options here with the third overall selection. Here, the Lions go with Jeffrey Okudah out of Ohio State. It’s important for Detroit to build the secondary in a division with great wide receivers. Okudah is a very fluid corner with great coverage skills and change of direction. Pairing him with Darius Slay would be fun.

4. 31. OT. Andrew Thomas. Georgia. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The New York Giants found their new head coach, getting Joe Judge from New England. However, their draft approach will likely be the same under Dave Gettleman, an effort to build the trenches and from the ball out. With Nate Solder’s game declining, and no solid option on the right side at tackle, they go with Georgia’s Andrew Thomas. Thomas is a very powerful tackle with solid pass protection skills and great play strength in the run game.
