Round 3, No. 90 Overall: Hakeem Adeniji, OT, Kansas

The Minnesota Vikings already selected one offensive lineman in this mock, but they can’t stop there. It’s time to double down at this point in the draft, especially with Riley Reiff and Brian O’Neill struggling mightily at times down the stretch in 2019.

Hakeem Adeniji could be a mid-round answer for the Vikings. He’s not the most refined player in terms of play strength and hand usage, but those things can be improved with a good offensive line coach. Adeniji brings good mobility to the table, from being able to make blocks in space to keeping pass rushers in front of him with good footwork.

Round 4, No. 122 Overall: Robert Landers, DL, Ohio State

The defensive line is another area to watch for the Vikings. With Linval Joseph as their only real impact player at the moment, and Jaleel Johnson still moving along with his development as a pro, finding another impact interior player is important.

Robert Landers was part of a very good defensive line for the Buckeyes in 2019. Landers has a quick first step and plenty of play strength. He can hold up with a strong anchor and possesses good hand usage to get around linemen. Landers isn’t the quickest mover, but if he can eat up space for Griffen and Hunter do get more one on one looks, that’ll be enough.
