Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have many needs on the defensive side of the ball and could go in many different directions with their first-round pick at number 16 overall. Edge rusher and cornerback stand out as more obvious needs for the Falcons, but if the board does not break well, defensive tackle could be under consideration for the team in the first round.

Derrick Brown will be the first defensive tackle off of the board in the 2020 NFL Draft. After Brown, either Javon Kinlaw or Gallimore will be the next player at the position. If the Falcons feel like Gallimore is a better fit than Kinlaw, he could be a realistic target for the team in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have more desperate needs on the defensive side of the ball than a defensive tackle. Off-ball linebacker is a major need and if Matt Judon leaves via free agency, edge rusher will be as well. That being said, if they lose Michael Pierce in free agency, the interior defensive line all of a sudden becomes a worthy need as well.

The Ravens are never going to force a pick. They will sit back and take the best player available who fits their system. Gallimore is a bit more of a one-gap penetrator than we typically see on the Ravens’ front line, but they could use a guy who can be a bit more disruptive up front. Plus, he has also shown the ability to two-gap at a high level when asked to do so. If Gallimore is still available when the Ravens go on the clock late in the first round, he will undoubtedly be on their radar.
