Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Jeff Gladney. player. CB. TCU. 21. 54

The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, however, one unit is very underwhelming and needs to be addressed if they want to get back to having a realistic chance at a Super Bowl title. Cornerback Jeff Gladney is a smart and physical prospect that plays some of the smoothest man coverage in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Eagles should take him, plug him in, and let him take on the opposing team’s WR1.

WR. 22. player. Pick Analysis. Clemson. Tee Higgins. 16. Scouting Report

The Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen surprised a lot of people this season going 10-6. Size at the wide receiver position just isn’t there for this team. Cole Beasley and John Brown headline this wide receiver group with neither of them standing 6-foot tall. Tee Higgins can add that missing link to this offense. His work “above the rim” can be so useful for Allen, especially in the red-zone. This fit just seems so natural and can pay huge dividends for years to come.

47. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Washington. 23. player. QB. Jacob Eason

Here we are. The New England Patriots are locked into the 23rd overall selection following their loss to the Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card Playoff Game. Tom Brady has announced that he isn’t done yet, but it still feels like it’s time to commit to his successor before he retires. Jacob Eason is a gifted talent, yet the consistency and decision-making aren’t quite ready for the NFL.

A year or two to work alongside Brady and to be developed by this coaching staff before seeing significant action at the next level will be very beneficial for Eason. New England has a history of developing and making winners out of many quarterbacks in the past. The only thing that makes this different is that you have to suspect that this is the one they keep to take over after Brady.

Creed Humphrey. player. Scouting Report. IOL. 24. 15. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma

The New Orleans Saints invested heavily in a center last year with Erik McCoy and has done very well in his rookie season, so why draft another center? Well I believe as good as McCoy has been, he projects even better at guard and Creed Humphrey is the best interior offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft. Slide McCoy to right guard and put Humphrey in at center and you have a complete offensive line. This has the potential to be one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.

Scouting Report. 25. player. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Penn State. Yetur Gross-Matos. 35

The Tennessee Titans took a chance on one of my favorite prospects in last year’s draft in Jeffery Simmons and it seems to be paying off so far. Here, the Titans have the opportunity to select another one of my favorites with Yetur Gross-Matos. This guy has everything you want: frame, speed, strength, athleticism. He needs a little developing with his hand usage and working counters into his game, but he has the tools you want and has such a high ceiling.

player. 60. Pick Analysis. Wisconsin. Tyler Biadasz. 26. Scouting Report. IOL

With stellar play late in the season by Kirk Cousins, the Minnesota Vikings are still in the playoffs and take on the San Francisco 49ers this Saturday. One group that has been inconsistent this season is the interior offensive line. Garrett Bradbury was Minnesota’s first-round pick last year and has shown more promise as the season has gone on but an upgrade at the guard position is needed and Tyler Biadasz can fill that role with great success.

player. 59. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Georgia. RB. D'Andre Swift. 27

With their third pick so far in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins can take a similar approach as the Raiders did in a similar scenario last year and take a running back. There is absolutely no reason that Ryan Fitzpatrick should’ve led the team in rushing yards this season. Adding a dynamic running back like D’Andre Swift can help this offense not only the running game but the passing game as well.

LSU. 36. 28. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. K'Lavon Chaisson

The Seattle Seahawks have a history of taking a liking to athleticism in the front-seven and K’Lavon Chaisson fits that criteria. Chasing down CeeDee Lamb from behind in the College Football Semifinal Game is a testament to the speed and athleticism he brings from a DE/OLB hybrid position. He is primed to dominate the combine and will turn heads with his versatility and athleticism. This pairing seems like a match made in heaven schematically.

29. Pick Analysis. RB. Clemson. 124. Scouting Report. Travis Etienne. player

The Kansas City Chiefs might have the fastest skill position players in the NFL, so let’s add to the group by adding potentially the fastest running back in the 2020 NFL Draft in Travis Etienne. This guy can get going in a hurry and threatens to hit the home-run on any given play. This is what the Chiefs’ offense is built on, so embrace it and add another speedy playmaker to this already dynamic offense.

WR. Colorado. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 49

Whether it’s returning kicks or catching the ball from the slot, Laviska Shenault Jr. does it all as a wide receiver prospect. He has many tools to his disposal and can be used in so many ways in an innovative offense. With Aaron Rodgers leading the offense, this guy can be a nice addition to move around the formation. Green Bay is without a true number two option behind Davante Adams and could use another playmaker in the wide receiver room and Shenault can be just that.

Trevon Diggs. 31. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. Alabama. 42

The San Francisco 49ers are in contention for the Super Bowl this year and are so well-coached and well-rounded. On the defensive side of the ball, their line is one of the best in the NFL, but are lacking in depth of talent in the back of the defense. Trevon Diggs can step right in and play on the other side of Richard Sherman. His size and physicality are what you want in an outside corner. He is just another talented young piece for this already talented defense.

32. player. 26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Boise State. Curtis Weaver

Last year, the Baltimore Ravens took a shot on an edge rusher with a lot of production in Jaylon Ferguson. That hasn’t seemed to be super successful thus far, so why not take a chance on another edge with a ton of production with more talent in Curtis Weaver. He is a versatile end that can find success rushing the passer as well as against the run. He can play in space and projects well as a versatile defender that can play in multiple fronts in the NFL.
