Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Tristan Wirfs. player. 30. Iowa. 11

The New York Jets are in desperate need of a tackle to protect Sam Darnold. This is a dream scenario for the Jets for they may get the most powerful offensive tackle prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft. Tristan Wirfs has versatility in that he can play on either side of the line. His length, size, and nimble feet project so well to the NFL and has the potential to be a franchise tackle to build around.

Clemson. Isaiah Simmons. Scouting Report. LB. 12. player. 28. Pick Analysis

What is the biggest hole for the, now, Las Vegas Raiders? Athleticism at the linebacker position. Isaiah Simmons is as athletic as it gets. He is a true chess piece that you can put anywhere on the defense. Jon Gruden is going to fall in love with what this guy brings to the table as far as versatility. Get this guy in the building and revitalize your back-seven around Simmons who has a rare combination of size, strength, speed, and cover skills.

Utah State. Jordan Love. 13. player. Scouting Report. 46. QB. Pick Analysis

Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement just before the start of the 2019 season was a punch in the gut for the Indianapolis Colts. They were primed for another playoff run with so much young talent and a franchise quarterback. Jacoby Brissett did a solid job to fill the void of Luck, but he doesn’t get them over the hump. The Colts have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball and Jordan Love allows them to mold and develop a quarterback that can get them back to Super Bowl contention in the future.

48. Scouting Report. 14. player. Javon Kinlaw. Pick Analysis. IDL. South Carolina

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the quarterback market and may likely need to trade-up if they want to go get their guy. Unfortunately, the value isn’t there to select a quarterback in this situation, however, Javon Kinlaw gives Tampa Bay an interior pass-rush presence that they haven’t had since the departure of Gerald McCoy. A defensive front with Kinlaw, Vita Vea, and Shaquil Barrett could cause problems for quarterbacks in 2020.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 45. WR. Alabama. Henry Ruggs III. 15

It has been heavily reported by Broncos reporter Benjamin Allbright that the Denver Broncos are looking to add speed at the wide receiver this offseason. Who better than arguably the fastest player the 2020 NFL Draft will see? Henry Ruggs III does a lot more than most speedy wide receivers. He has strong hands and works through contact well. He has ridiculous explosiveness and can be a super dynamic piece for Drew Lock to throw to.

player. 44. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Iowa. AJ Epenesa. 16. Scouting Report

The Atlanta Falcons need to generate a better pass-rush to help out their defensive-backs. Dan Quinn found success with Michael Bennett in his time as defensive coordinator with the Seahawks and AJ Epenesa fits that mold. He is a versatile edge rusher that can win with strength or athleticism. His ability to win one-on-one will force offenses to chip him or double him which can open up opportunities for Takk McKinley, Grady Jarrett, and blitzing linebackers to make the play.

17. 123. LSU. Pick Analysis. S. Grant Delpit. player. Scouting Report

If I told you in August that I mocked Grant Delpit at 17th overall, you would say I’m crazy. He was looked at as a top-ten lock. With a disappointing individual season for the LSU safety, he has found his draft stock falling. He has picked up his play in the back half of the year and is still an incredible talent. Dallas would love to see this pick come to fruition and help bolster a glaring hole in the back of the defense.

Scouting Report. Alabama. 59. Pick Analysis. S. Xavier McKinney. 18. player

After taking Tua with their first selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, I want to help out this defense by drafting another Alabama player in safety, Xavier McKinney. McKinney is a do-it-all safety that you can place all over the defense and find success with him. Whether he’s blitzing or playing over the top, he is simply a playmaker. He flashes on film and seems to always be in on the play and can be a dynamic piece for Brian Flores in 2020.

CB. 19. player. LSU. Kristian Fulton. 28. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Oakland Raiders added athleticism to their linebacking core in their last selection with Isaiah Simmons. Here I am giving them a highly-touted cornerback prospect in Kristian Fulton. A true competitive man coverage corner that has locked up some of the nation’s best receivers in his time with the LSU Tigers, Fulton can step in and be a major contribution to a youthful defensive back core for the Raiders.

Pick Analysis. Oklahoma. 20. player. 52. Scouting Report. LB. Kenneth Murray

Jacksonville’s defense doesn’t carry the same threatening eminence it did just a couple of seasons ago. Kenneth Murray brings the terrorizing presence over the middle of the field that they are lacking. His ability to hit with a purpose and the demeanor in which he plays will be intimidating for offensive playmakers. Murray has the size and speed you want in an interior linebacker in the NFL and the constant high motor that he plays with will entice Jaguars fans.
