It’s a new era as the Oakland Raiders become the Las Vegas Raiders. Who could they target in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft with two picks?

A new era begins, as the Oakland Raiders are set for a move to become the Las Vegas Raiders. In their second season under head coach Jon Gruden and first season under general manager Mike Mayock, the team enjoyed an improvement from 4-12 to 7-9 and was very much in the AFC Wild Card conversation near season’s end.

Now, with the move to Las Vegas imminent, they are ready to take the next step and become a contender.

Gruden and Mayock’s first NFL Draft together looks like a success so far. Not everything is set in stone regarding that class after just one season, but there was certainly an impact. While Clelin Ferrell may have been a reach to many, he did finish with 4.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss, something to build on.

Josh Jacobs was the big get, as he finished the 2019 season with 1,150 yards rushing and seven touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per tote.

Some of their day three picks made an impact this past season as well, with Maxx Crosby netting 10 sacks and 16 tackles for loss, Foster Moreau catching five touchdowns, and Hunter Renfrow netting 605 receiving yards.

Now, with the big move coming, a big splash should be on the way too. With two first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders can add two high impact players in April to get the franchise on track to being a contender. Who could the Raiders target in the first round? Let’s take a look, going position by position.
