Philadelphia Eagles 2020 NFL Draft: Complete 7-round mock draft
Myles Sanders showed plenty of promise as a rookie running back for the Philadelphia Eagles this season and he will be the featured back for the team going forward. That being said, head coach Doug Pederson likes to use multiple backs and finding a more long-term running-mate for Sanders in the 2020 NFL Draft would be a wise plan of attack, especially with Jordan Howard hitting free agency this offseason.
Kylin Hill stands out as a great fit for the Eagles in the sixth round of this 2020 NFL draft scenario. Hill is an extremely powerful back who always finishes with a ton of effort. This guy is always looking to grind out a few extra yards and he has explosive power at the point of attack. Hill also works through traffic well and shows a bit of short-area quickness.
His long speed is lacking, but Hill is a strong runner who is always moving forward. His power would pair well with an explosive runner like Sanders, giving the Eagles a potentially dynamic running back duo to build around going forward.
With their final pick of this mock draft, the Philadelphia Eagles take a shot at some upside at the linebacker position. LSU’s Patrick Queen lacks ideal size at the linebacker position (6-foot-1, 227 pounds), but he makes up for it with explosive athleticism and playmaking ability.
Queen ranges from sideline-to-sideline with absolute ease and is extremely quick to the ball. He is a fantastic natural athlete who does a great job of working through traffic and tackles well in space. The Philadelphia Eagles could certainly use some depth at the linebacker position and Queen feels like a strong fit for their defense. At worst, he should be able to come in and make an immediate impact for the Eagles on special teams.
