Pick Analysis. Brandon Aiyuk. 2. Scouting Report. WR. Arizona State. player. 854

Carson Wentz did a lot without much help this season. The Eagles consistently lost pass catchers to the injury bug throughout the season and even when they were healthy, they lacked consistent playmakers on the outside. In the second round of this 2020 NFL draft scenario, the Eagles find Wentz a dynamic weapon for the passing attack.

Brandon Aiyuk is an extremely quick and crisp route runner who consistently seems to be able to separate against man coverage. He shows the ability to start and stop on a dime and accelerates at an extremely high level. Aiyuk creates space from most opposing backs in an instant and shows the ability to make plays in the short, intermediate and deep passing game.

Once the ball is in his hands, Aiyuk is an impressive playmaker who shows plenty of elusiveness in the open field. He is a natural ball carrier who knows how to find space on the field and has the combination of quickness to make the most out of every time he has the ball in his hands. Simply put, Aiyuk is a gifted wide receiver prospect who could come in and make an immediate impact in the Eagles’ offensive attack.

3. player. 811. Scouting Report. IOL. Michigan. Pick Analysis. Cesar Ruiz

Cesar Ruiz has been a fantastic center for Michigan the last two years. He is a smart, tough and athletic offensive line prospect who gets off of the ball well and consistently plays with great technique. He shines as a second-level blocker in the run game and shows strong overall pass protection ability on the inside.

Ruiz primarily played center in college, but he did spend time at guard during his freshman season. He should be able to easily handle both positions at the next level, which could be incredibly valuable for the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly could bring in Ruiz and let him battle for a starting guard spot in camp. At worst, he would be a strong depth piece for this team on the interior who the Eagles could groom as the eventual replacement to Jason Kelce at center.
