The Dallas Cowboys are moving forward with Mike McCarthy as their new head coach. What will they do in the 2020 NFL Draft with him at the helm?

The Dallas Cowboys have named Mike McCarthy as their next head coach, and McCarthy is already off to a fun start putting together a staff by hiring defensive coordinator Mike Nolan (who has historically operated with a three-man front but uses a lot of hybrid looks like many coordinators) and defensive line coach Jim Tomsula.

The hiring of McCarthy was not the big splash of an Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley, but it’s a great hire for the Cowboys, a team on the cusp of competing for an NFC title sooner rather than later.

The Cowboys have to dot some ‘i’s’ and cross some ‘t’s’ this offseason, namely re-signing or franchise tagging one or both of Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper (among some other big moves defensively like re-signing Robert Quinn) but the Cowboys have cap space to work with and they’ll be in good shape to keep making aggressive moves.

McCarthy has won a Super Bowl as a head coach in the NFL already, and after taking this past year off, he landed one of the best jobs in the league.

How will the Cowboys operate in the 2020 NFL Draft? We used The Draft Network’s mock draft machine to put together a fun class, assuming the Cowboys are able to retain Prescott and Cooper offensively.
