Here are five teams that could potentially target Utah’s Bradlee Anae in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Coming to Utah as a three-star athlete, Bradlee Anae saw limited playing time in his freshman year, only playing in three games and notching 2 sacks. In his 2017 sophomore season, Anae played in all 12 games while totaling seven sacks. The following year, Anae saw similar production to his previous season with 7.5 quarterback sacks. Although he could’ve declared in 2018, Anae opted to return and improve his stock for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Now, after a dominant senior season at the University of Utah, Anae has joined the conversation as one of the top edge defenders in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2019, Anae netted 41 total tackles, 14 TFLs, and 13 sacks. In his final season, Anae earned 1st team All-American honors, was a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award and was the winner of the Morris Trophy. He finishes his career at Utah with 29.5 career sacks, which is tied for the school’s record.

While I have some concerns for Anae, namely size, he has become one of my top edge rushers in the 2020 NFL Draft. On film, he shows a good amount of burst with an ability to dip his shoulder and properly corner opposing offensive tackles. Against the run, he shows prowess at shedding blocks to make big tackles in the backfield.

Although I doubt Anae will be a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, he should be a solid option for teams selecting on day 2. There are plenty of NFL teams in need of a pass rusher that will try to address the position early should the free-agency group be picked clean.

So with that, here are five teams that could target the Utah product in the 2020 NFL Draft.
