Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

Overshadowed by top WR Jerry Jeudy with the Crimson Tide, a combination of quarterback play (Tua Tagovailoa injury) and depth within the unit has hurt Ruggs’ draft stock despite showing an obviously valuable skill-set.

Henry Ruggs III is a 6’0″ receiver who has shown to be one of the best speedsters coming through the draft this year, being contrasted with fellow prospect Jalen Reagor.

After trading Emmanuel Sanders to the 49ers, Sutton has been left with the help of DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick. Noah Fant has been helping from interior allignments but an additional receiving target for Lock needs to be found.

Ruggs is a uniquely athletic addition with the ability to stretch the field like no other Broncos receiver, creating depth of coverage between safeties and corners as well as the ability to produce after the catch.

Unique athleticism thrives in today’s NFL with the likes of Tyreek Hill and Steven Sims, and Ruggs could fill a similar role in Denver.
