Running back may not be super high on the Bills’ priority list, but with the seemingly ageless Frank Gore slated for free agency, the potential pairing of Devin Singletary and Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a fun one to think about.

Singletary proved in his rookie season with the Bills that he’s capable of being a featured back going forward with tremendous burst and toughness between the tackles. Singletary is also capable of being utilized in the passing game, but perhaps not to the degree of a player like Edwards-Helaire, who really excels in that regard.

Part of my goal with this mock draft for the Bills was to make the offense not only more dynamic, but to give Josh Allen weapons he can utilize on easy throws throughout the game and give playmakers chances to make plays after the catch.

That is an area where Edwards-Helaire excels.
