One of the most popular players right now in Broncos Country is Alabama running back Najee Harris.

Fans are a bit frustrated with the lack of development in year two from Royce Freeman as a runner, and obviously pending free agent Devontae Booker is not expected back with the team.

The Broncos made a move this past offseason for Theo Riddick, a pass-catching specialist at the running back position.

Najee Harris has the size and pass catching ability to be a featured back at the next level. I love his ability as a one-cut runner and in the Broncos’ offense, that is essential.

Harris showed off as a receiver at times this year, including in the Auburn game when he looked like a wide receiver with the way he was going up for the ball at the catch point.

He’s a tremendous athlete and in tandem with Phillip Lindsay could give the Broncos a devastating combo.
