The Denver Broncos have some big in-house decisions to make on the defensive line in free agency this year with Derek Wolfe and Shelby Harris hitting the market, but with their assets in terms of cap space, I think we’ll see the Broncos address the D-line in a big way as it’s so critical to the success of Vic Fangio’s scheme.

I could see the Broncos bringing back one of Harris or Wolfe, then using big assets on a free agent from outside of Denver (Leonard Williams?).

One thing the Broncos need more of is production from the nose tackle position in terms of pass rush. Mike Purcell had a breakout season in his native state of Colorado this past year, but he’s a run defense specialist and Neville Gallimore is a three-down player who plays with as much intensity and effort as you will see from a defensive lineman.

His quickness off the snap, strength, and hustle will endear him to coaches like Bill Kollar and Vic Fangio in Denver.

The Broncos’ defense is dependent on pressure from the interior line. Gallimore can provide that on a consistent basis.
